ABOUT US

GRIFFIN PHILOSOPHY

We are about discovering new dimensions, exploring creative continents and journeying ever onwards. Griffin installations are their own phenomena and have created another stratosphere for garments to profile themselves over and above the catwalk. We work with designers from other creative forces, fine artists and architects. It’s a large international team of like-minded people and we are all aspiring to release the Griffin dream of quality garments, with a tale to tell.
WHY GRIFFIN?

Griffin design is focused on producing a garment of the highest quality aesthetic, from conception to realisation of each and every piece.

Working alongside pattern cutters in Italy, our designs are nurtured and evolve until they become a Griffin garment, with the distinct hand finished feel.

Made in Italy, Zips all the way from Switzerland...Every product has a tale to tell...

GRIFFIN - MADE IN ENGLAND

“Griffin moved out of London 7 years ago into the countryside, this brought about a different approach and outlook on life.
At Griffin we’re working closer to home; yes we still manufacture in Italy because they have different skills to those found in the Uk.

I have been looking for new and old manufactures based in England who still have the traditional skills that are reflected in patterns, fabrics and construction – quality.

This is the same with the food we eat, we buy all our meat from a friend called Bob King, who farms down the road. He believes that growing his lifestock slowly, keeping them outside and offering them a wide range of foodstuffs will result in happy healthy animals. The welfare of the animals is paramount to prod ucing top quality meat. Stress is recognized as having a huge impact on the eating quality of the meat. To reduce the stress he uses a small local abattoir, once the animals are killed he uses a local butcher to prepare the meat to the highest standards."

Made in England came about thanks to Griffin's connections with British brands and manufacturers. The mostly collaborative project features tried and tested Griffin classics alongside new styles, all sharing key principles of quality, performance and heritage. The range explores the wonderful dichotomy of luxury sportswea wih the added principle of a discernable English provenance. The range features collaborations and partnerships with Baracuta, Mackintosh, Fox Brothers & Co, Butterworth & Roberts, Gymphlex and Andrew Shayne.
