The Elysian

Griffin has reworked a pinnacle Berghaus jacket, the Elysian. Taken from Extrem, Berghaus’ peak performance range, the Griffin Elysian has been constructed using unused Gore-Tex® found in the Berghaus warehouse. With environmental issues a key focus for both companies this method of reusing the unwanted seemed the perfect combination. By comprising spare fabric and blending colours that wouldn’t normally sit together Griffin has created a jacket that combines a great mix of hand made with high technology. A limited edition piece this jacket can now be purchased through the Griffin online store.

Gore™ Micro-Grid backer technology.
Two stretch mesh inner pockets, one for stowing the detachable hood.
Pertex Quantum® and Primaloft® lined collar with drawcord to keep out draughts and spindrift.
New detachable mountain hood with central ‘air-port’ to prevent steamy eyewear, volume adjuster and wired visor.
8mm tape on key seams to reduce weight, improve breathability and flexibility.
