Baracuta X Griffin

The Baracuta colab came about at a time when Jeff was heavily inspired by the music of the 70's and was looking to work with an established brand to produce a garment that would sit well within the collection for that season. Upon joining forces the two brands decided on the heritage Baracuta G9 jacket. The first Griffin X Baracuta jacket was launched in early 2008 and has since then been redeveloped and refreshed resulting in the collaboration gathering a unique following of it's own.

Last season we have developed the G9 Harrington Italian slim fit jacket in a green micro dogtooth fabric. The jacket is reversible and can be worn with the inside desert camo lining and contrasting red sleeves on the outer. This jacket is the first in the series to feature the Griffin X Baracuta logo, a combination of the Baracuta heritage lion logo and Griffin heart. Made in England, this jacket is a limited edition piece.

This seasons collaboration with Baracuta takes inspiration from the brands heritage Fraser Tartan check, modernising the jacket by bringing the heritage check from the inside of the garment and onto the sleeves and enlarging the check, using a colourway that compliments the summer season. Made from a great quality Italian shirting cotton from famed fabric mill Albini, this slim fitting G9 is available in two colour options, sand/check and black. Both styles feature the added sportswear element, a nylon mesh lining making these jackets the perfect summer-weight blouson. The jacket also features the usual Griffin features such as the bright yellow two way zip and Griffin X Baracuta embroidery on the chest, as well continuing to work with local manufacturers to produce these jacket within the England. These jacket are a Limited Edition product with just 50 pieces of each design available worldwide.
